Two Year Old Program: Children are encouraged to participate in activities for longer periods of time and to persist on preferred activities in the development of focus and completing tasks; child-initiated activities provide growth in independent thinking, creativity, and problem solving.  Social skills, listening, sharing, and communicating are observed and infused throughout the day through play.  

Three Year Old Program: Children are motivated to read, listen to stories, tell stories with imagination, take part in conversations, build vocabulary, and watch and imitate others.  Social skills and school readiness skills continue to be observed and taught through both teacher-led and child-initiated activities. 

 Four Year Old Program/Including VPK: FREE VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) for those who qualify.  Our program meets or exceeds all Florida mandated learning objectives.  Children learn within an enriched environment in small groups tailored to their specific needs.              

Each program focuses on the development of the whole child in all domains: Physical Health, Social Emotional, Language & Communication, Gross & Fine Motor Development, Cognitive Development, Emergent Literacy, Mathematical and Scientific Thinking, and the Arts.

 Staff: All staff members meet Level II screening requirements of the State of Florida.  Staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR and receive annual continuing education in the field of Early Childhood to keep current with new trends and research-based best-practices.  

Campus:  Our classrooms are embedded within the school campus and face the beautiful swimming pool on the grounds of our tree-shaded 10-acre campus overlooking Lake Brantley.

Other Ministries: Sweetwater Summer Day Camp is available on our campus in June & July for campers Ages 2 – Grade 9.  Summer VPK is provided for any 4-5 year old entering Kindergarten who qualifies and did not participate in the school-year program.

Sweetwater Episcopal Academy is an accredited private elementary school accepting enrollments through Grade 5.
